I was home today with a sinus headache, feeling like the day was a total loss, but I sat down with my portable art supplies and sketched this loose drawing from a magazine photo (Good Housekeeping, I believe). My daughter and husband are watching the third Lord of the Rings movie... the loud Orcs are not helping the headache much at all, but at least I was able to paint a little! :)

Ooh. Sorry you had a headache -- hope it's gone by now! Your painting is really lovely. I just love your use of color and your sense of composition. This is a great piece!
Hope you are feeling better. I love your paintings, they are just beautiful. The magazine would be lucky to have a print of your painting to put in their magazine.
Good things come from headaches, I guess, because this is absolutely lovely!
